The Kleinman Report

I get a lot of reader e-mail asking me about good places to learn more about the Internet, HTML, e-mail, and more. Many people are overwhelmed by the millions of books out there that try to show you how, and they are looking for an alternative.

This week I found a great new place on the Internet designed to provide the learning environment that you are looking for.

Ziff Davis University (http://www.zdu.com)

Ziff Davis University provides a wide array of online classes on everything from how to build your own home page to how to use Java. For a low monthly fee (under $5), you can take as many online classes as you want a month and expand your knowledge of the Internet. What's great about ZD University is that you learn hands-on, right online along with other people trying to learn the same thing. ZDU is a great example of using the 'Net as an educational tool!

I often find that around four o'clock in the afternoon, I am ready for a little diversion. So every day I stop by Du Jour. Du Jour provides a daily trivia question, daily riddle, and some interesting tidbit on the historic importance of the day. Stop by and kill a few minutes everyday and who knows, you might just win something if you know the right answers!
