***New Report Search Engine***
Now that the The Kleinman Report has been around for over a year, the back issues seem to be just piling up! In order to make sifting through the old reports easier, I have set up a search engine so that you can type a key word in and get a listing of which reports it was mentioned in. This is a great tool if you remembered something from a report but couldn't remember the site's name!

***Great Minds Think Alike***
Whenever I am interacting with a group of creative people, I get a great rush from the collective energy created by the group. This week I found a web site devoted to the idea of creating this type of community on the Internet. Electric Minds brings together information and conversation about technology and its effects on our lives, community, and the future. Join the Minds community or check out the Virtual Community center to find other Internet communities which might fit your interests.

***Think First, Download Later***
The advice I am about to give you will save you countless hours of frustration, endless reboots, reintsalls and general hair pulling: Don't download early betas of Internet Programs! Betas are prerelease versions of a program, created for the purpose of discovering all the bugs and errors prior to its actual release. The first few beta versions (like Netscape 4.0) can crash your system, jumble your settings, and create general chaos on your machine. This month Netscape and Microsoft will release early betas of their new browsers (4.0), and there will be a lot of press about them. My advice is to read the press and wait until the product is actually formally released. If for some reason you just can't wait, and you don't have a spare "test" system laying around, at least hold off until beta version 4 or 5 (generally closer to a formal release). You'll thank me later!

Best Regards,
Geoff
