As many of you know, I recently lost my father to long battle with cancer. After a short sabbatical and a lot of contemplation about life, the internet, and everything, I've decided to move The Kleinman Report from a weekly publication to a monthly one. The decision to move to a monthly publication wasn't an easy one. I've been sending this report out every week for the past two years, and it's become like an old friend who greets me at the end of one week and the beginning of the next. The move to a monthly schedule seems to be the best way to maintain the high quality of the report. It truly amazes me how many things you can actually do at Yahoo besides search. I find myself going there several times a day, between looking at My Yahoo, using their yellow pages and people search, and pulling up their maps. This week, Yahoo gave me yet another reason to pay them a visit, with free web based e-mail. Just like Hotmail (and Rocketmail, which Yahoo purchased via 411 to offer this service), Yahoo Mail lets you have a free e-mail account that you can access from anywhere via the web! Yahoo Mail is a great address to use when you sign up for things on the web (mailing lists, free offers) so that they don't clog your main e-mail address. I use Yahoo Mail for a few mailing lists and now make it a part of my daily surf.Yahoo Mail: http://mail.yahoo.com
