*** The Glitch that Stole Christmas - OOPS!***
I wanted to start out this week by apologizing for the glitch that happened in last week's report. This glitch coincided with a move of Kleinman.com to a new provider and a change in the way I send out the report. The good news is that whole process is more streamlined, and it takes a lot less time for the report to actually mail out. The bad news is that my first attempt at sending it out wasn't set up properly, so we got that nasty little glitch. We can all breathe a sigh of relief as it is all fixed now. Thank you for bearing with me as we made this transition.

*** American Health (for women) - a great home resource***
Don't let the title fool you, American Health is a great resource for both women and men. This Reader's Digest site covers every corner of your life, from season-specific tips for your garden, a step-by- step guide on making your favorite winter comfort food, and even how to weatherproof your house from the cold. American Health is also a great place to get information about how to beat that horrible nagging flu that seems to haunt everyone this time of year.

*** Pegasus Mail Updates!***
I make no bones about it, I love Pegasus Mail! This week my favorite e-mail program just got an update. If you are on a PC and looking for a great free e-mail program, check out the new version (2.5) at: http://www.pipex.net/people/chuck/pegasus/

*** What the heck is "Push"?*** Hold on to your mouse, the Internet Revolution continues with a new way of getting information - "The Push". Pushing is the opposite of Browsing - instead of going out and searching for some sort of information, the information comes to you! Think of pushing the way you would think of a magazine subscription: You go out and subscribe to the publications you are interested in, and when a new one comes out, you get it. A great example of Push in action is a new application called BackWeb. I downloaded BackWeb and signed up to get the Weather Report from the Weather Channel. Now in the morning I get a little 5 Day forecast that pops up on my desktop as well as a satellite weather map as my wallpaper. Push technology is really on its way, as both Netscape Navigator 4.0 (Netscape Communicator) and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 will feature Push technologies.

*** Am I crazy or there something different about The Kleinman Report?***

No, you're not crazy. This week marks the premiere of a new format for The Kleinman Report. The new format is designed to better meet the goal of helping you get more out of the Internet by adding useful information about the Internet to my normal look at bookmarkable sites. So let me know what you think. Do you love it? Hate it? Am I hitting my mark? Send your thoughts to: [email protected]

Best Regards,
Geoff
