*** Stormy Weather***
For those of you who are used to reading The Kleinman Report hot off the presses on Sunday, here's why we came out a little late: This Sunday, while visiting my dad in Northern California, we got caught in a major rain/snow storm. After dealing with several cancelled flights, we finally made it into the air, and at 30,000 feet, with pen in hand, I chuckled at the thought that with all the technology in the world, we still can't do a damn thing about the weather :)

*** How Fast is Your Company?***
In order to survive in this high tech world, companies need to: work smart, embrace change, and think fast. This week I found the perfect guide book for the modern company: Fast Company http://www.fastcompany.com. Fast Company is an amazing collection of articles and tips designed to help you get the most from your work. Be sure to check out their "FC Zones" for some real life changing articles.

*** C is For Cookie***
When I first heard the word "cookie", my first thought was "chocolate chip" - my favorite! On the Internet, a cookie has a much different meaning. A cookie is a file created by your browser which stores information from a web site for later retrieval. This makes it possible for you to configure My Yahoo http://my.yahoo.com and have it automatically remember who you are and log you in. You can set your browser to let you know when a site wants to set a cookie; with Netscape, look at "Protocols" under "Network Preferences" , and with Internet Explorer, under "Advanced Properties". Another cookie- notifier is a utility from Ziff Davis called CookieMaster, which can be downloaded from Hot Files http://www.hotfiles.com, one of my favorite place to get shareware.

*** Thanks!*** I wanted to thank all the people who e-mailed me their comments about the new format. The feedback I got was resoundingly in favor of the new look, with the most popular request to have the URL's by the individual stories (Your wish is my command!). I rely on my reader's remarks to make sure The Kleinman Report is the best it can be! So please don't hesitate to send me your feedback at any time at [email protected].

Best Regards,
Geoff
