***It's Oscar Time***
One of the things I love about this time of year is the Oscars. I love to take a final look back at the films from the past year and decide once and for all if Jerry McGuire was better than The English Patient, or if Shine is really better than them all! The place on the Net I go to fuel my Oscarmania is The Official Oscar Site. In addition to a recap of all the nominations (in case you missed them), the Oscar site is a treasure trove of Oscar history and information. If you are a die hard Oscar fan, and think you are funnier than the Oscar show (who isn't), then submit your Oscar joke and who knows, maybe Billy Crystal will knock 'em dead with your punchline!

***Call Me Mr. Showbiz***
For those of you who are sick to death of Entertainment Tonight, can't stand Mary Hart's whiney voice, or want some real entertainment news, I have found the solution for you! Mr. Showbiz is the online entertainment extravaganza, filled with more entertainment news, interviews, and reviews than anywhere else on the Net. Within five minutes on the site, I learned more entertainment news than in a half an hour of ET. ***What Does Your Phone Number Spell?***
For a long time my family has played a game where instead of giving each other phone numbers, we give phone names, like (1-800-not-real). This week it was a real treat to find a web site devoted to this entertaining endeavour. Type your phone number into the site and you will be rewarded with all the possible combinations of words your phone number spells. Be warned - this seemingly silly site can be quite time consuming (especially if you have had many phone numbers in your life).
