While all of the sites I have reviewed can be considered "great sites", I find that I visit only a select few on a daily basis. My daily surf always begins and ends at the mother of all sites: My Yahoo. This swiss army knife of a site can be configured to give you a personal window onto the information you NEED to know. With My Yahoo, I keep on top of my stock portfolio, the weather, news, entertainment, sports and technology, all from one place. If that isn't enough, you can use My Yahoo as a starting point for your Yahoo searches as well as single click to Real Audio newscast from across the net. Another site that I visit more than once a day is News.com. Produced by C|net, News.com has the rare distinction of surpassing its parent site (Cnet.com). With more breaking Internet stories than anywhere else on the Internet, News.com is a MUST visit site for anyone whose life is affected by the radical changes in the world of technology. News.com updates several times a day and is always on top of the news you NEED to know. News.com is one of the few sites I would actually pay for should they ever charge for it.*** Entertainment Today ***
After I've tracked down all the financial and technology news I can handle, I pay my daily a visit to the tops in Entertainment Sites. Mr. Showbiz routinely scoops other entertainment sources (on TV, radio and in the newspaper) with the first word in the exciting world of entertainment. Even though I have my own e-mail address, I routinely pay a daily visit to Hotmail, where I check up on my free web based e-mail account. Using my Hotmail accounth as been a great way to reduce the clutter in my personal mailbox. I use a hotmail account as the address for a number of Internet mailing lists as well as the primary address for anything I sign up for, download or register online.
