Sitting in front of my PC all day has begun to turn me into a mouse potato. Resolved to find a resource to help me keep a better eye on what I eat, I found Phys, the ultimate resource to smart eating. Filled with information about diet, calories, food labels and more, Phys is a must for anyone looking to control their diet. Be sure not to miss Phys' diet calculators, which let you figure out your ideal weight, body fat percentage, and your need for fat, protein and carbs (all from the privacy of your own home :).

***A Good Chuckle ***
During my busy day I always like to take some time out to look at the funnies. Recently I've realized that my long standing favorite, Dilbert, has been "Garfield-ized" (every where I look there is a Dilbert book, calendar, strip, doll or T-shirt). Arrrggghhh! Determined to find a new (less over exposed) funny, I took to the net and came upon one of the funniest comics around. Randy Glasbergen and his unassuming web site are an absolute treat. Since finding this site, I have almost literally wallpapered my cube at work with his cartoons. If you're looking for a good laugh, be sure to pay Randy a visit!

I use the Internet to get a lot of information from sites across the globe. Recently I've been frequenting sites that give me information about what's been going on in my own back yard. Of the sites that provide information about Portland, my absolute favorite has to be CitySearch. I now pay a daily visit to CitySearch for news, entertainment, business listings and weather (complete with live cameras around my area). Weekend planning will never be the same again.
